Sausage Hors d'Ouevres (Tailgating- Year Six: Volume 6; September, 2015)


Prep time: 15 min
Cook time: 20 min
Ready in: 35 min
Serves: 4- 8

Ingredients: 
1 lb. spicy pork sausage
10 oz. cheddar cheese- grated
3 c. baking mix (ie: Bisquick) or self-rising flour
Pepper- to taste
Salt- to taste

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375
- Using a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine sausage, cheese and baking mix, beating on low speed until blended
- Add pepper to taste
- Shape mixture into 1" balls and place 1" apart on an un-greased cookies sheet
- Bake until browned, about 20 min
- Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with salt, and serve
