Spicy Asian Meatballs (Around the World- Year Four: Volume 8; November, 2013)


Prep time: 5 min
Cook time: 20- 30 min
Ready in: 25- 35 min
Serves: 6- 10

Ingredients: 
SAUCE:
1 1/4 c. water
1 T. cornstarch
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 T. ginger- minced
1 tsp. garlic- minced
2 T. lime juice
1 T. lemon juice
2- 4 T. crushed red pepper flakes

1 bag meatballs

Directions: 
- In a small saucepan, dissolve cornstarch in water
- Add remaining sauce ingredients and whisk together
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10- 15 min
- Add meatballs to sauce and stir until well-coated
- Cook until meatballs heated through, another 10- 15 min
