Whiskey Burgers with Whiskey Chili Sauce and Vodka Ketchup (Drunkitty Drunk Drunk- Year Two: Volume 5; August, 2011)

Cook time: 10 min
Ready in: 30 minutes
Serves:  6

Ingredients:
KETCHUP: 
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp. roasted garlic
3/4 c. ketchup
5 T. vodka

CHILI SAUCE:
3 T. whiskey
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. chili powder

BURGERS:
3 T. chili sauce (above)
1 1/2 lb. ground beef

GARNISHES:
6 slices cheese
6 strips bacon- cooked
6 buns

Directions:
- Combine mayonnaise, mustard, and garlic in a small bowl
- Add ketchup and vodka and mix well
- Refrigerate
- Combine well all chili sauce ingredients in a small bowl
- Refrigerate
- Add 3 T. of chili sauce to ground beef in a large mixing bowl
- Blend well with hands
- Form into 6 patties
- Sear patties about 2- 3 min per side directly over high heat
- Reduce heat to medium or move to a cooler area of the grill
- Baste both sides with remaining chili sauce and grill until the burgers are cooked through
- During the last minutes of cooking, top with cheese and bacon and lightly toast the buns
- Spread toasted buns with both sauces
- Add cheeseburgers with bacon, and serve
