Ingredients:
4 c. strawberries- chopped
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
4 c. cold water
1 c. Burgundy or other dry red wine
Directions:
- Use a food processor or blender to puree strawberries
- Pour strawberry puree into a large saucepan
- Stir in sugar, sour cream, water, and wine
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring gently, for 20- 25 min to fully blend flavors (DO NOT allow to boil)
- Serve warm or chilled
