Roasted Brussels Sprouts (Fall Flavors- Year Three: Volume 6; October, 2012)


Prep time: 10 min
Cook time: 35- 40 min
Ready in: 45- 50 min
Serves: 6

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. Brussels sprouts
3 T. olive oil
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 head garlic- all cloves peeled and sliced

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400
- Cut off brown ends of the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves
- Mix in a bowl with remaining ingredients
- Pour them on a sheet pan and roast until crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, 35- 40 min
- Shake pan from time to time to brown sprouts evenly
- Sprinkle with more salt and serve immediately
