Jalapeño Poppers (Cupid's Delight- Year Two: Volume 11; February, 2012)
Prep time: 20 min
Cook time: 10- 15 min
Ready in: 30- 35 mi
Serves: 6- 8
Ingredients:
1- 2 fresh jalapeños
3 strips of bacon
1 can crescent dough
2 T. cream cheese
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350
- Chop jalapeños into small pieces and clean out the seeds
- Cut bacon into pieces and cook until crisp
- Roll out dough
- Cut each triangle in half
- To make one popper on each half, layer a small dollop of cream cheese, a piece or two of jalapeño, and bacon on each triangle half
- Bring corners of dough together and twist them together at the top
- Press edges of dough together so the insides don't gush out
- Bake for 10-15 min
