Bourbon Meatballs (Drunkitty Drunk Drunk- Year Two: Volume 5; August, 2011)


Prep time: 20 min
Cook time: 10 min
Ready in: 35 min
Serves:  6-  8

Ingredients:
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. Bourbon
48 small meatballs

Directions:
METHOD 1- stovetop:
- Cook meatballs
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients and simmer in a big pot until blended, about 5 min
- Add meatballs and simmer, covered, for about 45 min

METHOD 2- crock pot:
- Combine the first 3 ingredients and simmer in a saucepan for 5 minutes, until blended
- Put meatballs (they can be frozen) into crock pot
- Pour sauce over meatballs
- Cook on low for 8- 12 hours
